I
am a graduate of Ohio University, and have been a Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 1998. I received my
Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock
University in 2001. Since then I have worked in nearly all
aspects of physical therapy. I have experience in everything
from outpatient orthopedic to nursing home care and all ages
and diagnosis.
My primary interest are:

- Balance Disorders
- TMJ
- Orthopedic Injuries
- Work Reintegration Programs
- Wellness Programs

I
received my Physical Therapy degree from The Ohio State
University in 1991. During my professional career I have
treated all patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
My managerial experience includes
- Development of a sports medicine program
- Development of women's health programs including
osteoporosis/arthritis. pre and post partum and urinary
incontinence.
- Industrial rehab including performing functional
capacity evaluations, work conditioning, and work hardening.
I'm especially excited to bring my experience to the
Ironton area and developed programs that target the female
athlete, pediatric and women's health issues.

Hometown: South Point, Ohio Education: Graduated
valedictorian in 1996 from South Point High School. Received
Associate's degree in Applied Science (Physical Therapist
Assistant) from Shawnee State University in 2000. Received
Bachelor's degree in Sports Studies from Shawnee State
University in 2001. Completed certification in Complete
Decongestive Therapy for lymph edema treatment from Klose
Training in September 2006.
Experience: skilled nursing, pediatrics, geriatrics,
and home health
About me: I am married and live in Getaway, Ohio. I
have 5 dogs. My husband and I like to travel, work out, an
run. I often run in local road races. We also like camping and
church activities.

Ashley is a 2008 Graduate of Shawnee State University with an
Associate Degree of Applied Science with a concentration in
Physical Therapist Assistant. Ashley is currently pursuing a
Bachelor Degree of Sports Studies. Ashley has participated in
a special training for balance disorders and joint
mobilizations. She plans to continue her education to become a
Physical Therapist.
