Holliday Racing debuts new Larry Shaw Modified at Rocky Top Raceway 4-17-09

COAL GROVE, OH-Shawn Holliday Racing kicked of the 2009 race season at Rocky Top Raceway Friday night with a 3rd place feature win.

 Shawn qualified 2nd out of 26 modified's in attendance. That would put him starting 5th in the Fast Dash. Shawn worked his way to a 2nd place finish, which would put him on the front row of the 20 lap feature.

 Shawn took the lead and lead the first 4 laps. Then car started tightening up and also developed a brake problem, but Shawn was still able to hold on to 3rd place finish in first night out for 2009.

 Shawn is headed to KC Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio Saturday 4-18-09.

 
 This will mark what should be the beginning of a dynamic year in  Dirt Modified Racing for Shawn. Holliday has been a very successful Late Model and Modified driver over the past several years taking his talents as far away as Australia.  In 2007, Holliday posted two Late Model feature wins along with several top fives and a fourth place finish in Rocky Top Raceway point standings.
